Halloween Mantel Decorations Beaker Vase Craft
I’m in full Halloween mode now with a decorated mantel, my favorite fall read, and cozy recipes in the crock pot. I love fall. Even if the weather is sunny and warm here in southern California I’m dreaming of rain and falling leaves while making these easy Halloween decorations. I have some new ones for you this year and they make perfect Halloween mantel decorations!
The instructions will be fore making one of these cool beaker vase decorations, and then duplicate the craft as needed for your mantel or entry table. I have a pair of these on either side of my mantel with some artificial leaves spread across the mantel and a few favorite Halloween decorations. Our big old tv is mounted on the wall above the mantel because that’s really the only good space for it, so I’m trying my best to decorate around the tv. You’ll see that I added tall black twigs to the beaker vases which I put on either side of the tv to give some height to my decor. Everything else on the mantel has to be low so it doesn’t obstruct our view.
Cut lengths of about 2′ x 1′ of tulle (folded layer)
Push the tulle into the beaker. If the opening it small, use the pencil side of an eraser to push it in.
Before the tulle is all the way in the jar put the stems of your twigs in the jar. Finish pushing the tulle into the jar. This way you can use the stems to move the tulle evenly around the base of the beaker. It also keeps the stems from sitting on top of the tulle.
That’s it; happy fall!
