I just love this project! Great tutorial!
Gingerbread houses are a wonderful tradition for children at Christmas. Depending on the size of the bird house you could make several of these for a Christmas tree.
This turned out so beautiful. What a fun and colorful gingerbread house. I know my girl wants to make one now. I love partying with you.
the crafts look so cute! Commented on all blog posts in the blog hop!
I got a chuckle out of this – it is my kind of gingerbread house – a little bling makes for a perfect touch of whimsey – and this is so easy, too. I’d love to try it!
This is adorable!

A bird house as a gingerbread house–genius!! I’m so going to make one of these this year.
I would use this as a real bird house. There’s a bird out there looking for that special house with bling. Very cute.
What a cute idea!! That turned out adorably.
This is so cute, I like the heart!
So pretty and colorful!
I made a gingerbread house once about 30 years ago time to make another
I love that you can keep this year after year, unlike the gingerbread house my daughter and I made.
That’s what I was thinking. I always feel kind of bad tossing our gingerbread houses after the holidays!
Omg this is so cute! We have birds all over the place here. I could make a whole Christmas village for them.
That would be adorable!
At first glad, I totally thought this was an edible gingerbread house! How awesome. It came out so great!
Thank you! Our edible gingerbread houses usually fall apart! 😉
How cute. My kids would love this. They like doing craft projects.
How unique, thats for the idea!
I love the way gingerbread houses look. They are so adorable and fun.
This is so cute! I buy these little houses all the time for my niece to paint, but I never thought about turning it unto a gingerbread house.
This is so cute! Love the bling
This is a great, waste-free idea – instead of buying a gingerhouse year after year, you can keep the same one! Smart!
These look good enough to eat! But this might pose a problem if the rum punch and eggnog get a little out of hand…
Thanks for the creative decoration idea!
Your comment gave me a laugh, thanks!
That is adorable! I love this idea!
This is a great idea for those who don’t like gingerbread/don’t want to eat or waste their little house. Very cute!
So creative! I would never have thought of using a birdhouse even though I have a variety of birds on my tree.
The added bling is adorable.
I like this.It is such a cute idea.
Such a creative idea!
Thats a lovely little house . I like how it is personalized. It will be cherished!
Cute! I never even thought about this. What a fun idea 🙂
My family does a gingerbread house every Christmas!
thanks for the opportunity
Cute, cute gingerbread house.
I made a Gingerbread house once when I was a little girl. It was so much fun. I’d love to do it again! 🙂
The only thing that would make this better would be if it actually cookies!
I will definitely make a blingy gingerbread house when there’s no risk of kiddos eating the rhinestones but I love yours! Our gingerbread houses get eaten, not even a crumb left. 🙂
I like this. thanks.
I’m really looking forward to doing a gingerbread house with my daughter this year.
My daughter actually did this same type of idea a few years ago! I told her she could put whatever she wanted on the gingerbread house so she glued on stickers & gems & sparkly snowflakes. We never eat them anyway so it was fine!
Ouuu, this is so cool.
That is a fun craft to make to brighten up the holidays.
This is a cute idea.
