DIY Ghost Decoration for Halloween
Boo! Halloween is drawing near and I’m busy getting my decorations together for some spooky fall fun. I can’t wait to share all my DIY Halloween ideas with you! This season I’m starting with a DIY Ghost Decoration for Halloween using small jars and paint. You can make your ghosts spooky or silly depending on your Halloween decorating style.

Glossy White Paint
Black Paint or a Sharpie Marker
Start by making sure your jars are clean and free of labels and stickers. Place your jars on a surface that can get messy.
Open your white paint and carefully pour paint over each of your jars in as thin a layer as possible. Let the paint dry.
Pour a second layer of paint on the jars. Let the paint dry.
Give your ghosts eyes and a mouth using black paint or a sharpie marker. I used black patio paint from the craft store. I find that it’s more glossy than regular multi-surface craft paints. Shape your ghost’s eyes and mouth then let the paint dry.
Display your ghosts together or separately around the house for some crafty Halloween fun! I set mine on a tabletop with a few other fall finds.
Share pictures of your own DIY ghost decorations for Halloween by commenting on my Pinterest image. I can’t wait to see all your painted ghosts!
