Summer trips to the beach aren’t complete without picking up a few seashells or pretty rocks to add to your collection. The challenge is finding a unique way display sea shells, rocks, and other beach finds. A fun way for both adults and kids to preserve summer memories all year round is to create a diy stepping stone for the yard or garden! This beach craft can even be a special gift to a family member who spent time with you during the summer months!

Molds-We used plant drip pans from the local dollar store
Seashells, sea-glass, rocks…anything from your collection!
Mix the cement with water. This can get messy so be sure to use gloves! I prefer the cement to be the thickness of peanut butter. Any runnier and the shells sink, any thicker and they don’t set in the cement easily. Have fun getting creative while you add your collection to the cement. Be sure to let your garden stepping stone dry for at least 24 hours before removing it from the mold to display in your yard!
