White and Blue Planter Craft
My kids love the 4th of July but we have a few weeks to go before the big day of parades, carnival rides, and night-time fireworks. I put together an easy 4th of July craft to add a little red, white and blue to their day. This 4th of July planter craft is great for toddlers, preschoolers and younger school-ages kids.
4th of July Planter Supplies:
Red or Blue Glitter Foam Cup Koozie (craft store on the kids foam crafts aisle)
White Glitter Foam Star Stickers (craft store on the kids foam crafts aisle)
Red, White and Blue Artificial Flowers (bouquet or separate)
1 Piece Red Construction Paper
Making a Red, White and Blue Planter
- Stick the foam stars on the cup
- Crinkle the construction paper into a ball
- Cut the stems of the artificial flowers to fit into the cup (this step is for grown-ups!)
- Push the flower stems into the cup around the construction paper
Easy right? My kids enjoyed the craft because it was simple and didn’t take too long. They don’t want to slow down too much during their day! I let them put their cups on our mantel. They always love to see their crafts on display!
