How to make an Easy Diaper Basket for Babies on the Move
Is your little one ready to take off instead of sitting quietly for a diaper change? Struggling to keep a child from falling off the changing table when they’d rather be anywhere else can make diaper changing an unhappy time for both your baby and you. And can result in a fall for babies on the move. Ditch the high table and make an easy diaper organization basket instead.

When our kids start crawling we use the changing table less and less. It just becomes easier to change my toddler right in the livingroom. We keep a changing basket under our side table that’s full of all our diaper changing needs. Getting rid of the unused changing table left room for us to add a cute little bookshelf full of board books for our baby to read and explore!
Our family has been changing diapers for eight years. Four kids and thousands of diapers later, we know a little about the cost of diapers and where to buy them in bulk. I recently visited our local Sam’s Club to buy a big box of Huggies Little Movers diapers for our toddler. We’ve been using Huggies Little Movers because they have good fit for kids from newborn age through potty-training. Huggies Little Movers make rolling, crawling and walking comfortable for our little mover!
Sam’s Club offers great prices on large boxes of diapers in several sizes. While we were shopping I noticed the club pick up location. I should have used that when I had more than one kid in diapers. Order online and pick up right there in store! During this shopping trip we opted to do our shopping in store. My toddler loves seeing the characters on the diaper boxes. She was excited to point them out to me on our latest trip to Sam’s Club!
How to Make Diaper Changing Easier with a Diaper Changing Basket
A diaper basket is so easy I don’t really even need to give you directions! Find a cute bin or basket and put all your diaper changing supplies in the basket. Store the basket in an easily accessible place. So if you’re often changing your toddler on the sofa or the livingroom floor, put the basket under a side table.
Here’s what we have in our diaper changing basket:
Huggies Little Movers Diapers
Diaper Rash Cream
A Small Toy that Makes Noise
We add the toy because it holds our toddler’s attention just long enough to get through the diaper change before she’s off and running again. I had planned to show you her antics when she’s hopping, rolling and of course climbing, but she fell asleep early this evening. And we all know that I’m not going to wake her back up and risk her being up all night!
