Christmas List Printable for Kids
Here’s a simple Christmas list printable for kids to use this holiday season. This year we’re going super simple and doing traditional lists. The printable can be used as a wish list for gifts or as a holiday season activity list.
Did you make a long list of Christmas wishes when you were a kid? I definitely went overboard some years and for that reason I’ve liimited this list to ten. If your kids are anything like mine half of the things on their list won’t be under the tree because they won’t fit in Santa’s sleigh and we parent’s aren’t paying for them. A little reality check over the holidays can be a good thing for kids right?
My kids usually look through the holiday toy catalogs and circle everything they want. Which means they pretty much circle the entire book. Then they narrow it down to a more realistic list to send to Santa. Once our Elf on the Shelf arrives he delivers it to Santa if they’ve been good.
Writing a Christmas List with Younger Children
We have two pre-readers in the family and two older children. I like to have the older siblings help the younger ones when writing the list. If my younger ones insist on writing it themselves I usually have them draw pictures of what they’re hoping to see under the tree. I’ve left a space towards the bottom of this printable for younger kids to draw their list.
Writing a Christmas List with Older Kids
Older kids can get a bit nostalgic while looking through a toy catolog and they may list toys they wanted when they were younger. I try to encourage my kids to think of things they want and need such as cool shoes, art supplies or STEM activities.
I hope your kids enjoy making lists this holiday season!
