Bird Unit Study Printables for Kids
Welcome back to Unit Study Fridays! Each week I get together with some great bloggers to bring unit study materials and resources based on the week’s theme. This week our theme is birds and I’m super excited to share a bird unit printable for kids.
Do you know many bird facts? This printable pack has a list of bird facts to get you started, word matching, and handwriting skills. Don’t forget to check out the links after the post for more bird unit study resources!
We love to give back to nature when we can by hanging diy bird ornaments and setting out bits of string and fabric scraps for nest building. A fun indoor activity my kids have done is to build their own nest out of blankets and pillows to learn about animal shelters. Birds create a unique shelter by building a nest, usually up high in the trees. The trees help to shelter the birds from wind, rain, and sun.
